Episode 9 - Parametric Designer - Oksana Gritcai

Oksana Gritcai is an architectural product designer in Los Angeles. She pursues her product design career in the United States. After graduation, She established her design and architectural design career in Ceiling Plus. Oksana focuses on the parametric fabrication and prefabrication projects. This week, Oksana will share her design journey and finish her studies in the United States and start her product design career. Oksana Gritcai holds a post-professional program in Emerging Systems, Technologies, & Media (ESTm) offered by the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles.

Oksana's Description:

Oksana Gritcai is an architect by training. She worked as a Lead Designer for the R&D department in the manufacturing field since 2015. During this time, she mastered parametric modeling software to create design and engineering solutions, including developing current products and producing new products to extend the company's portfolio. She has worked closely with architects, engineers, and designers to help them accomplish their envisioned design. Among those she has collaborated with are Zaha Hadid Architects, UNStudio, HOK, SOM, Grimshaw architects. Oksana holds an Architectural degree in a Russian university and a Master of Design Research degree from the Southern California Institute of architecture.
